Daniel S. Lynch is Chairman of the Board of Beeline Medicines and a veteran biotechnology executive with decades of experience across the life sciences industry. Mr. Lynch is an Executive Venture Partner at GV, partnering with life sciences CEOs and executives as a trusted advisor. In addition to Beeline Medicines, he currently serves as a Board Member of Cardurion Pharmaceuticals and Delphia Therapeutics. Mr. Lynch has served as an executive chair or member of the Boards for a number of biopharmaceutical companies, including 2SeventyBio, Avila Therapeutics, bluebird bio, Blueprint Medicines, eGenesis Bio, Nimbus Discovery, Stromedix, SpringWorks Therapeutics, and Xilio Therapeutics. Earlier in his career, Mr. Lynch served as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of ImClone Systems, where he led the company through a significant turnaround and secured FDA approval of the novel cancer therapy Erbitux. Prior to that, he spent more than 15 years in financial leadership roles at Bristol Myers Squibb. Mr. Lynch holds an M.B.A. from University of Virginia Darden School of Business and a B.A. in mathematics from Wesleyan University.

Dr. Nicholas Downing is a member of the Board of Directors of Beeline Medicines and a Partner at Bain Capital Life Sciences. He previously served on the Board of Directors of Cardurion Pharmaceuticals and NewAmsterdam Pharma. Prior to joining Bain Capital, he was a resident physician at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where he provided inpatient and outpatient care and conducted health policy research focused on hospital quality and drug regulation. Earlier in his career, Dr. Downing was a consultant at McKinsey & Company, advising pharmaceutical, healthcare, and financial services organizations. He has authored more than 40 peer-reviewed publications and earned his M.D. from Yale School of Medicine and his B.A. in chemistry, magna cum laude, from Harvard University.

Saqib Islam is Chief Executive Officer of Beeline Medicines, bringing more than 25 years of experience building and leading healthcare and life sciences companies to deliver life-changing medicines for patients. Mr. Islam previously served as Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of SpringWorks Therapeutics, where he built and led the company from its founding in 2017 through its evolution from a clinical-stage startup into a fully integrated, global, publicly traded commercial organization. Under his leadership, SpringWorks built a differentiated pipeline and commercial platform, and brought two novel, best-in-class therapies through global regulatory approvals and launches, with these medicines now serving patients living with devastating rare diseases around the world. His tenure at SpringWorks culminated in the company’s $3.9 billion acquisition by Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany in 2025.

Prior to SpringWorks Therapeutics, Mr. Islam held executive leadership roles at Moderna Therapeutics and Alexion Pharmaceuticals, driving strategic growth and expanding global operations. Previously, Mr. Islam served in senior leadership positions in the global investment banking divisions of Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse Securities. He currently serves on the Boards of Beeline Medicines and ARS Pharmaceuticals.

He received his J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and bachelor’s degree from McGill University, graduating as a Faculty and University Scholar.

Andrew Kaplan is a member of the Board of Directors of Beeline Medicines and a Partner at Bain Capital, where he focuses on investments in the healthcare sector as part of the North America Private Equity team. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Kailera Therapeutics, QuVa Pharma, Surgery Partners, U.S. Renal Care, and PCI Pharma Services, and as a Governing Trustee of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Earlier in his career, Mr. Kaplan was an investment banker at Goldman Sachs and co-founded EngagedHealth, a post-hospitalization service focused on improving outcomes and reducing readmissions for chronically ill patients. Mr. Kaplan received an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar, and a B.S. in economics, magna cum laude, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Adam M. Koppel is a member of the Board of Directors of Beeline Medicines and a Partner at Bain Capital Life Sciences. In addition to Beeline Medicines, he serves on the Boards of Kailera Therapeutics and Cardurion Pharmaceuticals. He has previously served on the Board of Directors for AavantiBio, Aptinyx, Cerevel Therapeutics, Dicerna Pharmaceuticals, Foghorn Therapeutics, PTC Therapeutics, Solid Biosciences, Trevena and ViaCyte. Dr. Koppel was initially at Bain Capital between 2003-2014 before rejoining the firm in 2016 after serving as Executive Vice President of Corporate Development and Chief Strategy Officer at Biogen. Earlier in his career, he was an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company, advising healthcare organizations. Dr. Koppel received his M.D. and Ph.D. in neuroscience from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Palmer Scholar. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University with A.B. and A.M. degrees in history and science.

Dr. Martin Mackay is a member of the Board of Directors of Beeline Medicines and a biotechnology executive with more than 30 years of research and development leadership experience. He currently serves on the Boards of Kailera Therapeutics, Sail Biomedicines, and Charles River Laboratories, where he is the Lead Independent Director. Previously, Dr. Mackay served on the Boards of SpringWorks Therapeutics and Novo Nordisk. Dr. Mackay is a co-founder and Chairman of the Board of Rallybio. Previously, he served as Executive Vice President and Head of Research and Development at Alexion Pharmaceuticals and as President, Research and Development at AstraZeneca. Earlier in his career, Dr. Mackay held senior R&D leadership roles at Pfizer, and began his industry career at Beecham Pharmaceuticals. He earned his Ph.D. in molecular genetics from the University of Edinburgh and a first-class honors degree in microbiology from Heriot-Watt University.
